I.e: You know you’ll have made going to the gym a habit when not going starts feeling a bit wrong to you, like you’re somehow incomplete.

Formation

  1. Context cue—a trigger that causes:
  2. craving: the desire to do something
  3. repetition
  4. reward: doesn’t always have to be there, but it is part of the initial process of formation
